This is the third in a series of Limited Edition tableaux made exclusively for The Official Classic Rupert Bear Shop. The inspiration for it came from the image on page 46 of the 1953 Rupert Annual in the story Rupert, Algy and the Cannibals. The Edition Size is only 450 pieces.
This will be an exquisite piece of Rupert memorabilia made by Royal Doulton which is of the highest standard. We decided not to have the piece mounted on a base, to make it 'finer' and easier to display. Stock is due during August this year and shipping will commence soon after arrival. Each piece will come in it's own Official Classic Rupert Bear Packaging, individually numbered and each will have it's own certificate of authenticity. The height of the piece is the same as the other limited editions of just over 13cms.
A large number of these pieces are already allocated to those who have registered with us. There are a number of unsold pieces available.
