These fantastic limited edition John Harrold prints have just been launched on the world-wide market. These are all 'Fine Art Giclee' prints on soft textured fine art paper (310gsm) . 'Yuletide Promenade' is the only print that is on canvas. (The canvas is professionally mounted and stretched by the manufacturer). These prints are of the highest quality imaginable, and the colours are so vivid you feel you jump straight into the picture and join in the fun. You will be the envy of all who sees one of these prints hanging on your wall!!

Rupert fans - please note and be aware of this. There are only 100 of Yuletide Promenade and 200 of each of the other prints being produced. Such low editions of 'Artist Signed' prints are highly collectable and they will accrue in value. With the exquisite quality of print that Riviere Publishing have produced, they will sell out. They are NOT exclusive to The Rupert Bear Shop, so you need to order promptly if you do not want to miss out. There is enormous interest to date from private collectors and Art Galleries wishing to purchase these prints as a collection.

All prints will come to you mounted. The mounts increase the overall size by approximately 20cm. Framing will add an extra 6cm. Delivery will be by Royal Mail Special Delivery which is a seperate charge . Your print will therefore be insured. UK delivery £7.75, Europe £15.38 and ROW £25.22. With multiple print orders, the postage will be adjusted according to overall weight and the most economic rate for you.

We are also able to offer a professional framing service from the manufacturers themselves. A standard frame has been selected by them, which absolutely compliments the print. The frame front will be finished in glass. We are also able to offer frames in Natural Wood, Black or Silver if you so desire. If you have specific requirements for your frame or if you wish to replace the glass with perspex, then these can be addressed. Please contact us by telephone to discuss these. Orders for framed prints will be in the standard finish. We are only able to offer a framing services for UK customers. The frames will be too fragile to send abroad by Airmail.

About Giclee Printing

The Definition : Giclee (zhee-klay) - The French word "giclée" is a feminine noun that means a spray or a spurt of liquid. The word may have been derived from the French verb "gicler" meaning "to squirt".

The Term : The term "giclee print" connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better colour accuracy than other means of reproduction.

The Quality : The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.
