This was the first Official Rupert Bear Merchandise to be issued by Express Newspapers for many years, and these four beautiful postcards have been chosen to celebrate the work of the most famous of all Rupert Bear illustrators, Alfred Bestall, MBE.
The cards come presented in a clear sealed pack, labelled 'Limited Edition' of 1000, as is each individual postcard.

This is possibly one of most readily recognised pieces of music written by Sir Paul McCartney. 'We All Stand Together' was the main feature of the animated featurette, 'Rupert and the Frog Chorus' first screened in 1984. It's popularity was such that it made No. 3 in the Uk Charts and the song was released in a number of formats including picture and even laser discs.

This sheet music is for Piano, Vocal and Guitar and it is not really that difficult to play. This is still in print after 22 years and appears only available in America. We have imported a quantity of them just for those budding musicians out there and for those who like a good sing along as well. A nice piece of collectable memorabilia as well, for those who can't tinkle the ivories!

This is the third in a series of Limited Edition tableaux made exclusively for The Official Classic Rupert Bear Shop. The inspiration for it came from the image on page 46 of the 1953 Rupert Annual in the story Rupert, Algy and the Cannibals. The Edition Size is only 450 pieces.
This will be an exquisite piece of Rupert memorabilia made by Royal Doulton which is of the highest standard. We decided not to have the piece mounted on a base, to make it 'finer' and easier to display. Stock is due during August this year and shipping will commence soon after arrival. Each piece will come in it's own Official Classic Rupert Bear Packaging, individually numbered and each will have it's own certificate of authenticity. The height of the piece is the same as the other limited editions of just over 13cms.

This piece was commissioned by The Official Classic Rupert Bear Shop to celebrate Rupert's 85th Birthday on the 8th November 2005. Originally, it was planned to have a full edition size of 2000 and it was due to be released in March 2005. However, on manufacture, quality issues were found, which resulted in it having to be redesigned. This was solely attributed to the complexity of this piece.
After great deliberation and negotiation, it was decided that the edition size would be of 550 pieces only. The reduction in edition size (which is not uncommon) is for this, and this reason alone.
The pieces selected for sale from the manufactured edition have been made at random. The edition numbers are engraved on the base of each piece at time of manufacture. Therefore, the issue numbers for sale could be anything between 1 and 2000. By making the selection in this way, there is no extra benefit to having a low number, as we and Royal Doulton are the only one's who know what issue numbers have released. To verify these facts, each piece purchased will be accompanied with additional documentation confirming that the numbered piece possessed is one of only 550 that exist and that have been released for sale.
